I LOVE the girl emo look with a passion...

I dont suit dark hair like blacks or browns as i've tried many times...My hair is bleeched blonde with long roots (shh lol)

I dont suit really thick eyeliner...

And i cant find skinny fit jeans anywhere in Edinburgh where i live?

What can i do to make me look more emo? On Tuesday im getting my shoulder length hair cut really choppy.

I've got my nose and lip pierced

wellll...im emo and i go with what i like...im into gutairs,stars, and anything green and black and white. So i just buy things that i like and put together what i think looks cool...those gloves w/o fingers...arm warmers....knee high socks...leggins...band t's or grafic t's. (sp?) stripes polka dots...stuff like that. As for skinny jeans....u could just get straight leg jeans...they are not like skinny jeans, but they look better on us people that dont look well in skinny jeans lol.

and hair...

im known for my crazy hair so i can help u with this.

you dont have to have jet black hair...im not aloud to die it black but for some reason im aloud to put weird colors in it...not right isnt it.

you could get side sweapt bangs...and die them bright red or another color like i have mine right now. But, some red may fade quickly so make sure you get a profesional (wich doesnt always work) or a good brand(wich doesnt always work eather) for red.

get all over highlites in a crazy color...

or

do it yourself and put different colors anywere u think it looks good.

if u lat your hair grow out...you could get layers at the top to make it look choppy (sorry this look is hard to explain) and put one or two streaks of pink or maybe another color...it would look nice with your blonde hair..... just make sure you can get shold of that stuff that rehydrates your hair because dying your hair will kill it!.

if you want to go for a short straight look...

get bunches of layers... and part your hair at the side where u like it (if your mom is like mine she might say it looks like a bad comeover...ugh parents)

and get a straightner...

get a small ceramic one like this...this is mine... http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.d... ive had people tell me that it looks like one guys use but i dont care...as long as it gets my hair straight lol)

get black rimmed glasses (if u need them)

roll your jeans no more than two times...

and wear converses

and a band te or some other shirt...its realy easy.

in this case u wanna "be emo" yeah u can look like one but its gotta be mentally as well, we arnt freaks or depressed wrist cutters we are unique and special. also avoid the chavs

make your hair like those concaved hair..it looks emo and is hot in my country...for the clothing,emo likes to wear stripes and also tight clothes..skinny jeans or black pants which are also skinny is also a need for all emos...emo people dont specifically wear thick eyeliner..just put three to four strokes of eyeliner ont he upper and lower eyes to make that hot punk sensation...

make it fun, a fun punky preppy look.

wear converse all stars with funky designs that have some black. its all you, make it up! :)

Why do you have to have dark hair to be an emo, my daughter has natural blonde hair and is an emo, she says you must stop being so hung up about being an emo and be yourself a bit more! As for clothes you can get stuff anywhere!

honestly the emo look in girls turns me right off but if you love it with a passion... i wear tight leg jeans, you can buy them from surf shops tho they are usually sold out.. Lee also make skinny jeans, usually have plenty in stock.. t-shirts with band names on the front, very emo..also wear converse shoes, emo is not always about wearing black either.. thats goth

If you can't find skinny jeans, just try dark denim and black, tight fitting at the top at least. Also, skirts in black, black%26amp;red and some black%26amp;white can look emo if you team them up with black, black%26amp;red or black%26amp;white striped stockings, depending on the skirt. team those with cute black tops, lace can look really good, pr whatever, and converses or keds and that should look sufficiently emo.

if thick eyeliner doesn't look that good, try thin eyeliner teamed with a dark-coloured eyeshadow, which you could also use to line your upper and lower eyes.

And if you don't suit black or dark brown, that's not a prerequisite of the emo look, you can still pull it off with any colour hair, black is so overdone. However if you feel like being bold and making a statement, follow the lead of the lead singer of MCR and try platinum blonde.

Oh well it takes all sorts.........you are well on the way.........modifie the eyeliner with dark shadow instead also you could put a bit of pink or red streaks in your hair buy your jeans on the Internet and enjoy this phase in your life..my daughter has just left it behind thank God ..Good luck

The indie emo look - (best for girls and guys 16-20)

*Dyed-black short hair with bangs short and cut straight across the forehead. Spikey in the back, slightly greasy. Really light blonde hair on girls often works too.

*Piercings. The more the better.

*Jewelry. The more the better. Beads, etc.

*Horn-rim/thick black frames/cat eye glasses (this works for all three types).

*Tight, fadded shirts with random slogans. It should look like it could have been bought at a thrift store but you didn't (but you really did). It takes a while to master that one.

*Dark denim jean jackets.

*Messenger bag covered in patches and pins (that you actually bought at shows).

*Tight pants, sometimes cuffed once or twice but never more!

*Black or blue converse shoes.

A FEW MORE TIPS...

..::Shirts::..

*Shirts must be tight and have random slogans which make it seem as though they were bought at a thrift store.

*Ringer and stripped shirts are also a must. Just remember that they must be small.

*V-neck sweaters are a key part in any emo kid's wardrobe. A general rule of thumb, if grandpa didn't wear it it isn't emo.

*There are a few different styles of emo pants.

**Girl pants (must be the tightest size that you can fit into)

**Dickies work pants (usually darker colors)

**Dress slacks

**corduroy pants are also an important part

.::Shoes::..

*Old worn in black or blue chuck taylors (converse)

*Black and white checkered van's low tops

*Clunky pair of dress shoes

well all i wear really is brite clothing and brite makeup is also classed as emo like yellow and blue and green u dont have to have big thick eyeliner try and wear really bright coloured clothes and also tops with stars and hearts and things on them all these can be found on ebay places like primark have these sorts of clothes now too as for your hair emos have blonde hair too u could also try haveing a darker colour put through the blonde that would look pretty cool hope all this helps xx

Find your own individual style instead of trying to fit in with the stereotype groups. However, black and bright pink colours are classed as emo style. As are skull and cross bone patterns. Try H%26amp;M.
